Robert’s Deck

This upper deck and supporting columns were completely removed and a new deck was built using Azek decking, to increase the size to allow the BBQ pit to be out of the traffic pattern, yet accessible for use. The glass guard rail system was selected to increase viewing opportunities when sitting, while maximizing the view   adjacent to the open space.

Detailed lighting accents were included to illuminate paths of travel as well as ambiance. Stair riser lights, low level post lights, and a subtle ribbon of light illuminates each post cap. Stainless cable railing was selected to keep the open feeling when looking through the stairway. The decking was installed with concealed hardware to eliminate the visual appearance of the deck screws.
